Initial step to setup modem adsl is we must know that ip modem, by the way : 1.from modem guide-book, 2. by the way of stepping into command from [ c;\]klik star => click run => box open to type cmd then enter, then black screen show [ c:\]Ketik ipconfig , then searching default gateway for example ; 192.168.1.1

There are some possibility that makes IP doesn't show :

* Existence of certain firewall for example anti virus [ must in disable mode the firewall.

* Modem with DHCP in OFF [ setting network manual] for example. Ip addrees ; 192.168.1.5 Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0 default gateway : 192.168.1.1.

* Modem hang [ reset that modem/push reset hole rear ].

* Local of area conecction disable [ enable it].

* Lan card on PC out of order. [ changes interface through via USB/install CD driver modem (if there are conection USB in modem)].

After having makes a point ( that default gateway), then browse that number with browser.
